Gameplay

How to Play Tryndamere

Tryndamere is the simplest late-game carry — build crits, auto-attack, and R when about to die. His value is in the splitpush: push a side lane, kill anyone sent to stop you with full Fury crits, and R through any 1v2 attempt.

  • Build Fury with autos before trading.
  • Q heal when low.
  • E through minions for gap closes.
  • W slow fleeing enemies.
  • R at 20% HP when the enemy tries to kill you — the 5 seconds gives you time to Q heal and E escape or kill them.

  • Splitpush immediately after your first item.
  • 100 Fury auto crits at first item start hitting for massive damage.
  • Anyone sent to stop you is your practice target — R through their all-in and kill them.

How to Teamfight as Tryndamere

Tryndamere's teamfight is 1v1 isolation — he's not a teamfighter but a splitpusher. In unavoidable teamfights, dive their carry with E, crit them to death, and R through the counterattack.

Save R for when enemies think they've killed you — activating R at literally 1 HP and then Q healing for 500+ HP is psychologically devastating and often causes enemies to waste cooldowns.
