Fiora wins through precision: identify Vitals, trade only when they are reachable, and Parry crucial CC. Every decision should revolve around Vital positioning and W timing.

P
Duelist's Dance
Passive
Fiora has revealed a Vital on this Champion. If she hits the Vital, she restores Health and gains Move Speed.
Q
Lunge
Gap-closer / Reset
Fiora lunges in a direction and stabs a nearby enemy, dealing physical damage and applying on-hit effects.
CD: 13/11.25/9.5/7.75/6 · Cost: 20
Lunge to a Vital to proc true damage instantly. Use Q to reset on minions when escaping or repositioning during a duel.
W
Riposte
Parry / Counter
Fiora parries all incoming damage and disables for a short time, then stabs in a direction. This stab slows the first enemy champion hit, or stuns them if Fiora blocked an immobilizing effect with this ability.
CD: 24/22/20/18/16 · Cost: 50
Parry timing is the core skill expression — activate just before the CC or damage lands to riposte and stun. Study ability wind-ups in practice tool.
E
Bladework
Attack Speed Steroid
Fiora has increased attack speed for the next two attacks. The first attack slows the target, and the second attack will critically strike.
CD: 11/10/9/8/7 · Cost: 40
Bladework empowers your next two attacks; use the first hit to set up a Vital proc and the second for a slowed follow-up attack.
R
Grand Challenge
Ultimate / Teamfight Heal
Fiora reveals all four Vitals on an enemy champion and gains Move Speed while near them. If Fiora hits all four Vitals or if the target dies after she has hit at least one, Fiora and her allies in the area are healed over the next few seconds.
CD: 110/90/70 · Cost: 100
Cast Grand Challenge on a tanky enemy in a teamfight to reveal all 4 Vitals. If you or your team proc all four, the AoE heal can swing the fight.
Skill Leveling Order — Max Q for reduced cooldown and maximum dueling pressure, then W for Parry damage and riposte stun duration, last E.

Gameplay
How to Play Fiora
01
Early Game
Early Game — Vital Trading
- Level 1: Take Q and immediately look for a Vital proc on the enemy with a quick Lunge-auto combo.
- Respect the enemy's level 2 all-in if they take W or E first — trade back only when you have a Vital ready.
- Use Parry (W) reactively against the key CC in your matchup — practice the timing in the practice tool before the game.
- Avoid extended trades without a Vital available; short Lunge-auto-Lunge trades are safest until you have Trinity Force.
- Call for jungle priority once you reach level 6 — Fiora's 1v2 with R active is one of the strongest defensive tools in the game.
02
Mid Game
Mid Game — Split Push Pressure
- Push your wave fast and rotate to find a 1v1 side lane matchup or take tower plates with Trinity Force Spellblade.
- When the enemy jungler collapses, use W to Parry their CC ability and turn the 1v2 into a potential double kill.
- Teleport to a losing teamfight only if your R can secure the AoE heal — otherwise stay and take towers.
- Ward the river bush and enemy jungle tri-bush to see pressure coming so you can continue split-pushing safely.
- Rotate to Dragon only if the fight is sure to break out; Fiora's R heal can be the decisive factor in a Drake teamfight.
03
Late Game
Late Game — Duel & Teamfight
- Identify the highest-HP or tankiest enemy champion as your primary R target in teamfights — more Vital distance means safer proc angles.
- Open with R Grand Challenge, then cycle Q to each Vital in order; your team can assist in proccing Vitals for the AoE heal.
- If the enemy team peels you off their carry, pivot to the tank and use the R heal to sustain your team through the fight.
- In a 1v1 side lane, always Parry the enemy's most important ability — Malphite R, Darius E, Garen Q silence — before committing fully.
- With Guardian Angel, you can dive the enemy backline, proc all 4 Vitals, and revive in the AoE heal zone for a second burst rotation.
Teamfighting
How to Teamfight as Fiora
Fiora can carry teamfights by selecting the highest-priority target for R, then cycling Q through each Vital to trigger the AoE heal. Coordinate with your team to maximize Vital procs.
1
Engage — Target Selection
Before the fight breaks out
01
Identify your R target — the tankiest or most HP-rich enemy gives you the most Vital angles and the biggest heal payoff.
02
Save W Parry for the enemy's CC or burst ability; flashing it early burns your defensive tool for no value.
03
Position at flank so your Q path to the first Vital is uncontested — entering from the side avoids front-line disengage.
Do NOT use W Parry on a basic attack — save it for hard CC like Malphite R, Amumu Q, or Darius E grab.
2
Mid-Fight — Vital Cycling
R is active, Vitals revealed
01
Cast R Grand Challenge immediately on your chosen target — communicate to your team so they help proc Vitals on the marked enemy.
02
Use Q Lunge to reach each Vital in sequence; Bladework (E) empowered hits can proc a Vital without spending Q.
03
If you get CCed mid-cycle, wait out the CC, then continue — the R timer is generous enough to recover from one mistake.
3
Clean Up — Heal & Reset
All Vitals hit or target killed
01
The AoE heal zone spawns on the target's location — position yourself and teammates inside it to restore HP for the extended fight.
02
Use Triumph (rune) gold from any takedown to reset your kill pressure and immediately Q to the next priority target.
03
With Conqueror fully stacked, your remaining Q casts deal significant true damage — burn down enemy carries while the heal sustains your team.
If you cannot proc all 4 Vitals, killing the R target also triggers the AoE heal — focus on the kill if Vitals 3 and 4 are unreachable.
Tips & Tricks
Advanced Mechanics & Hidden Tech
Advanced mechanics for Fiora.
Basic
Always Trade on a Vital
Vitals appear at one of four cardinal directions around the enemy. Only commit to a trade when you can path directly to the current Vital — otherwise you are giving up free true damage.
Basic
Q Resets on Minions
Lunge can target any unit. Use minion Q resets to escape jungle pressure, reposition around a Vital, or extend a chase without wasting the cooldown on empty air.
Basic
Level 1 Vital Poke
At level 1, immediately Q into the enemy and auto-attack the Vital for a free early damage lead. Most top laners cannot punish this trade if you Lunge back safely.
Intermediate
Parry Ability Wind-Ups
Practice W timing in the tool: activate Parry during the enemy's ability wind-up animation, not on button press. Darius E, Garen Q, and Renekton W stun all have clear wind-ups to study.
Intermediate
Bladework Vital Proc
E Bladework's second empowered auto slows the target. Use the first auto to stick to a fleeing enemy and the second to proc a Vital without needing to spend Q cooldown.
Intermediate
Split Push TP Timing
Recall when a Vital is about to appear on the top-side tower. After resetting, Teleport back and immediately proc the Vital while the wave is crashing — you gain free tower damage and a reset.
Advanced
Parry Suppression and Grabs
W Parry blocks and stuns Blitzcrank hook, Warwick R suppress, and Mordekaiser E grab. These high-value ripostes turn losing matchups into easy wins — learn the exact W windows for each.
Advanced
R Vital Angle Manipulation
The 4 Vitals spawn in fixed cardinal directions relative to the target, but you control which direction faces you by repositioning before the R cast. Walk around the target to put the first Vital in an easy Lunge path before pressing R.
Matchups
Counters & Matchups
Fiora struggles against champions who can interrupt Lunge, punish W Parry cooldown, or apply CC before she can react. Her easy matchups are immobile tanks she can freely Vital-trade against.

Loses Against
Darius's E Apprehend pull disrupts Lunge paths and repositions Fiora away from the active Vital. His natural tankiness and bleed passive punish short trades.
Parry the E Apprehend pull — it is one of the highest-value W uses in this matchup. Play short Q-poke trades at level 1-2 and avoid extended fights until Trinity Force.
Garen's Q Decisive Strike silence prevents Fiora from casting W Parry during the silence window, removing her primary defensive tool at the moment she needs it most.
Pre-cast W just before Garen closes the gap with Q — activate Parry during his Q dash rather than waiting for the auto-attack. Take short trades and back out before the silence ends.
Renekton's W stun activates too quickly for most players to Parry reactively, and his fury-empowered burst overwhelms Fiora before Trinity Force comes online.
Save W Parry for Renekton's W stun animation — it has a very short but readable wind-up. Play passive until level 6, trade only on Vitals, and look for jungle assistance.
Wins Against
Malphite is immobile, low-damage, and has no CC that can interrupt Fiora's Q Lunge combo in short trades. He cannot duel or stop Vital cycling.
Freely Vital-trade every time the Vital is exposed. Save W Parry for his R if he is about to ult in a teamfight — Parrying Malphite R is a game-winning play.
Trundle has no burst or hard CC to interrupt Fiora's trade patterns. His Q slow and E Pillar are both readable and easily Parried.
Parry the E Ice Pillar knockback to riposte and stun Trundle, then cycle through Vitals freely. Stay even in short trades early and outscale with Trinity Force.
Sion's Q charge and R charge are both highly telegraphed and easy to Parry. His slow movement speed and large hitbox make Vital procs straightforward.
Parry the Q charged launch or the R charge collision — either riposte stuns Sion for a full Vital-trade combo. Push the wave hard and deny his passive stacks by killing him repeatedly.
