How to Play Support

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

The Team's Backbone

Supports win games through vision, utility, and enabling their team. You control the tempo of every fight โ€” your positioning and decision-making separate good supports from great ones. Your job is to make your team better.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

Vision Control

Warding is your primary responsibility. Place wards on Dragon, Baron, and jungle entrances before objectives spawn. Use your sweeper to clear enemy vision. The team with better vision wins objectives.

๐Ÿคœ

Bot Lane Laning

Your job in lane is to protect your ADC and find kill pressure when available. Engage supports look for picks. Enchanters shield and heal. Poke supports zone the enemy duo. Coordinate all-ins with your ADC's cooldowns.

๐Ÿƒ

Roaming & Mid Impact

After setting your ADC to farm safely, roam mid lane. A successful gank with your jungler mid wins Dragon. Always return bot before your ADC needs protection โ€” a dead ADC loses more gold than a successful roam gains.

Support Styles

Enchanters (Lulu, Nami, Soraka) โ€” heal, shield, buff ADC. Engage tanks (Leona, Nautilus, Thresh) โ€” initiate, peel. Poke mages (Brand, Lux) โ€” damage, zone. Kill threats (Pyke, Blitzcrank) โ€” hook, roam, pick.

๐Ÿ’ฅ

Teamfight Role

Peel your carries first. Heal and shield when they take damage. Save CC for the enemy assassin diving your ADC โ€” not for the tank. If you're an engage support, initiate when your team is grouped and ready to follow.
