Senna is a unique support who scales to hypercarry levels through Mist collection. She heals and pokes with Q from extreme range, roots with W, and globally shields allies with R. Her passive prevents auto farming, but each Mist wraith she collects makes her progressively more powerful.

Passive
When units die near Senna, their souls are periodically trapped by the Black Mist. Senna can attack these souls to free them, absorbing the Mist that held them in death. Mist fuels her Relic Cannon's power with increased Attack Damage, Attack Range, and Critical Strike Chance. Attacks from Senna's Relic Cannon take longer to fire, deal bonus damage, and briefly grant her a portion of her target's Move Speed.
Collect Mist from minions and champions — Mist gives AD, crit, range, and life steal. Always AA mist wraiths before they expire. Never auto farm minions except for Mist.

Curse of the Black Mist

Senna draws the Mist she has stored in her weapon into a storm around her, embracing darkness and becoming a wraith within. Allies who enter the area are camouflaged and also appear as wraiths as the Mist shrouds them. Wraiths gain increased Move Speed, are unselectable, and hide their identities.

E makes nearby allies invisible and grants speed — great for repositioning and escaping. The stealth reveals you if you attack.

Senna calls upon the relic stones of fallen Sentinels, splitting her relic cannon into a holy array of shadow and light. She then fires a global beam that shields allies from harm, while damaging enemies caught in the center.

Q Poke and Heal, Collect All Mist
- Q every time it's off cooldown — it heals you and your ADC simultaneously while poking the enemy.
- Never auto-attack minions except to collect Mist wraiths (the green glowing souls). Let your ADC CS.
- W roots are your best defensive tool — use them on aggressive supports who engage on you.
- E stealth is a great escape from ganks — use it when the jungler approaches and walk away unseen.
- Collect Mist from champions by auto-attacking dying enemies — even support kills generate Mist.

Your passive spawns Mist wraiths from dying minions (not from your last hit). Let your ADC CS — auto only Mist wraiths. Each wraith gives AD, crit, range, and life steal — more valuable than gold.

Q Through Multiple Champions
Q heals the first champion it passes through, including yourself. Position yourself in line with your ADC so Q heals both of you on the same cast.

W Terrain Blocking
W creates terrain for 4 seconds. Use it in the jungle to block escape paths, or in lane to prevent enemies from retreating to their turret after you've engaged.

Global R Saves
Check the minimap every 30 seconds for dying allies. R your top laner who's getting dived, your jungler fighting for Dragon — a global shield save can win fights you're not even in.

Mist Priority Targets
Collect Mist from champions dying near you before collecting from minions. Champion Mist has a higher drop rate. Always auto the last 2-3 hits on dying enemies to secure the wraith.

E Invisibility Wards
E makes you invisible — use it to walk into unwarded areas and place deep vision without risk. You can literally walk into the enemy base for vision while invisible during E.

Range Scaling Positioning
At full Mist stacks, your Q has 1,800+ range — longer than most turrets. Position yourself where no enemy can safely reach you. You should never be taking damage in late-game teamfights.

R Shield Timing
R shield goes to allies in the outer ring — use it before your team takes burst, not after. If your ADC is about to take Zed R, pre-emptively fire R their direction for the shield.

Senna struggles against aggressive early lanes that punish her weak early game and champions that can gap-close through her range. She scales incredibly hard and dominates late game.

Loses Against
Blitzcrank hook reaches Senna from longer range than she expects early game and pulls her out of position before she has enough Mist for her range advantage.
Stay behind minions at all times in lane. Your range advantage only matters when you have enough Mist — play safe early.
Leona's engage CC chain is longer than Senna can Q heal through at early levels. She shuts down your Q healing cycle with sustained lockdown.
W root Leona the moment she walks up to prevent her E dash engage. Keep minions between you and her.
Pyke's hook and stun combo kills Senna quickly before she can Q heal. He also executes low-HP targets through R before Senna's healing matters.
Never position near walls. Pyke hook from fog of war is his only real engage — clear vision around you.
Wins Against
Soraka can't match Senna's damage output and Senna's Q healing is comparable to Soraka's heals at mid game. You out-range and out-damage her entirely.
Poke Soraka with Q — she must heal herself, wasting it on herself instead of her ADC. She runs out of mana trying to sustain.
Sona's range doesn't match Senna at mid-game. Your Q outranges her Q-poke and you outdamage her in every exchange.
Out-range her Q poke from the start. At 30 Mist, you simply can't be touched by Sona's abilities.
Yuumi attached to the ADC doesn't affect your ability to Q poke and auto-attack their ADC. Your damage outdamages Yuumi's healing easily.
Focus the ADC — ignore Yuumi. Your Q heals your ADC as fast as Yuumi heals her host.
