Kha'Zix is an isolation assassin. He deals double Q damage to enemies who are alone. Your entire gameplan is finding isolated targets and deleting them. He scales with kills, not farm — snowball or struggle.

Kha'Zix's abilities have interactions with Isolated targets.When Kha'Zix is not visible to the enemy team, he gains Unseen Threat, causing his next basic attack against an enemy champion to deal bonus magic damage and slow them for a few seconds.
Unseen Threat: first auto from stealth/brush deals bonus magic damage and slows. Proc it before Q for max burst.

Taste Their Fear

Deals physical damage to the target. Damage increased on Isolated targets. If he chooses to Evolve Reaper Claws, this refunds a percent of it's cooldown against Isolated targets. Kha'Zix also gains increased range on his basic attacks and Taste Their Fear.

Void Spike

Kha'Zix fires exploding spikes that deal physical damage to enemies hit. Kha'Zix is healed if he is also within the explosion radius. If he chooses to Evolve Spike Racks, Void Spike now fires three spikes in a cone, slow enemies hit, and reveals enemy champions hit for 2 seconds. Isolated targets are slowed for extra.

Kha'Zix leaps to an area, dealing physical damage upon landing. If he chooses to Evolve Wings, Leap's range increases by 200 and the cooldown resets on champion kill or assist.

Void Assault

Each rank allows Kha'Zix to evolve one of his abilities, giving it a unique additional effect. When activated, Kha'Zix becomes Invisible, triggering Unseen Threat and increasing Move Speed. If he chooses to Evolve Adaptive Cloaking, Void Assault gains increased Invisibility duration, and an additional use.

How to Play Kha'Zix
01
Early Game
Invade and Duel
- Start Red → Raptors → Wolves → Blue → Gromp. Clear is decent but not the fastest.
- Your level 3 dueling is strong. Invade weak junglers and fight them at their camps — they're isolated.
- Ganks need isolation. Only gank when the enemy laner is alone (no minion wave nearby).
- Check isolation radius: if no ally is within ~500 units of the target, they're isolated. It shows visually.
- Take scuttle aggressively. You win most 1v1s with isolation Q.

Mid Game
Hunt Isolated Targets
- Evolve Q at 6 for increased range and isolation damage. It becomes a one-button delete on squishies.
- Hunt jungle invaders. Enemy junglers are always isolated in their jungle — free kills.
- Evolved E at 11 gives extended range and resets on kills/assists. This is your teamfight tool.
- W from range before jumping. Evolved W slows massively, making escape impossible.
- Always approach from brush or stealth for passive bonus damage + slow.

Late Game
Chain E Resets
- E resets win teamfights. Kill one → jump → kill another → jump → chain kills across the fight.
- Wait on the edge of fights for a target to get isolated. Don't jump into grouped enemies.
- R stealth between autos to proc passive multiple times. R → auto → R → auto for max burst.
- Split-push pressure. You win 1v1 vs almost anyone. Draw enemies to you then kill them isolated.
- If behind, play for picks. One isolation kill can swing the game.

Kha'Zix doesn't frontline teamfights. He waits on the edge, finds an isolated target, deletes them, and chains E resets through the fight.

Isolation Check
Isolated targets have no allies within ~500 units. The target shows a visual indicator when isolated. Only Q isolated enemies for max damage.
Intermediate
Evolution Order
Standard: Q at 6 → E at 11 → W or R at 16. Q for damage, E for resets, W for utility or R for stealth.
Advanced
R Passive Reset
R gives stealth, which re-activates your passive. Use R between autos: auto → R → auto for two passive procs in quick succession.
Basic
E Reset
E resets on kills AND assists. In teamfights, even getting an assist on a target lets you jump again.
Intermediate
W Before E
Always W to slow the target before jumping. This ensures they can't flash or dash away before your Q lands.

Evolved W Scouting
Evolved W reveals enemies hit for 2 seconds. Use it to scout bushes and fog of war before committing.

Kha'Zix struggles against champions who group tightly and deny isolation. He excels against teams that split up and have immobile squishies.

Loses Against
Rammus's taunt + thornmail destroys your combo. You can't burst through his armor and his reflect kills you.
Never fight Rammus. Kill his teammates instead. He can't taunt everyone.
Lee Sin matches your early dueling and his kick disrupts your isolation kills.
Respect his early power. Farm to evolved Q, then start hunting. You outscale him.
Warwick sustains through your burst and his R suppression cancels your escape. He tracks you with W blood scent.
Don't fight Warwick alone. He out-duels you at every stage. Focus on squishier targets.
Wins Against
Karthus is always isolated in his jungle. Free Q damage every time you find him.
Invade constantly. He can't escape and can't fight your isolation burst.
Evelynn is squishy and isolated in her jungle. Your evolved R reveals her stealth area.
Invade her pre-6. She has no combat power. Post-6, your burst kills her before she can charm.
Amumu is slow, weak early, and you can invade him freely. He's always isolated in his jungle.
Invade at level 3. He can't fight your isolation Q damage.
