How to Play Jungle

πŸ—ΊοΈ

The 5th Laner

The jungler influences all three lanes. Your success depends on reading the map and being where you're needed β€” not farming mindlessly. Every clear decision should factor in where you'll gank next.

🧭

Pathing

Full clear means 5–6 camps before your first gank. Gank path means 3 camps, then visiting a lane. Choose based on your champion's gank strength and which lane has the best setup for you.

βš”οΈ

Gank Execution

A good gank needs lane pressure (enemy pushed up), CC from your laner, and an angle the enemy can't escape. Communicate with a ping. Don't force ganks into bad setups β€” wait for the right moment.

πŸ‰

Objective Control

Dragon and Baron are the primary win conditions. Set up deep vision 2 minutes before each spawn, clear enemy wards, and start the objective when you have a health or numbers advantage. Smite is your most important ability on objectives.

πŸ”

Counter-Jungling

Invading steals camps and denies power spikes. Counter-jungle when you know the enemy jungler's location. Track camp timers and deny scuttlecrab when they're on the far side of the map.

🎯

Jungler Styles

Carry (Viego, Kayn) β€” farm 2 items, snowball solo. Ganking (Lee Sin, Hecarim) β€” impact lanes early, control tempo. Tank (Amumu, Zac) β€” engage for your team, fight repeatedly.
