The Story of Kha'Zix
Kha'Zix is the Void's evolutionary ideal made manifest. He was born from the Void as a predator, but where most Void creatures are tools of hunger, Kha'Zix is something more intentional: a hunter that evolves by consuming the powerful. Every apex predator he kills, every unique ability he absorbs, reshapes him — new eyes, new limbs, new killing techniques assembled from the best of what he's eaten.
His obsession is Rengar, the vastayan trophy hunter — the only prey who has genuinely challenged him. Their ongoing contest is one of Runeterra's stranger stories: two predators who define themselves against each other, each becoming something they couldn't be without the other's opposition. Kha'Zix does not hate Rengar. He reveres him, in the way predators revere worthy prey. Their fight is, in Kha'Zix's understanding, the purest possible thing.
The Void grows, and the Void adapts — but Kha'Zix adapts faster than the Void intended. He has begun to think in ways that Void creatures don't think, developing something like purpose, like preference, like the beginnings of a perspective that isn't purely hunger. Whether this represents the Void evolving something new or Kha'Zix evolving away from the Void is a question whose answer will define what he eventually becomes.
