The Story of Gragas
Gragas has been searching for the perfect brew his entire adult life, which has been very long and very alcoholic. He started in the Freljord, where the cold winters create both excellent fermentation conditions and a culture that deeply appreciates a strong drink. His early experiments were promising. His later experiments were legendary. His current experiments are the reason three Freljordian villages have asked him not to come back.
The search takes him everywhere — he's sampled cask contents from Demacian wine cellars, Bilgewater swamp spirits, Shuriman date liquors, and things in the Kumungu jungle that shouldn't ferment but do anyway. Every destination produces a new ingredient, a new technique, and usually a fight, because Gragas is large, loud, territorial about his casks, and genuinely cannot tell when a social situation is heading toward violence until he's already in it.
He doesn't fight because he's cruel. He fights because he has a barrel of experimental brew to protect, because someone said something about the quality of last season's batch, or because the fight was already happening and he was in the middle of it. His combat style — hurling himself and his cask at enemies — is simply the most efficient application of his size and his supplies. The perfect brew remains elusive. Gragas is convinced he'll find it eventually, and he intends to be extremely drunk when he does.
