Quinn

Demacia's Wings

Quinn is an elite ranger-knight of Demacia, who undertakes dangerous missions deep in enemy territory. She and her legendary eagle, Valor, share an unbreakable bond, and their foes are often slain before they realize they are fighting not one, but two of the kingdom's greatest heroes. Nimble and acrobatic when required, Quinn takes aim with her crossbow while Valor marks their elusive targets from above, making them a deadly pair on the battlefield.

Origin & Background

The Story of Quinn

Quinn is a Ranger of Demacia — one of the kingdom's specialized scouts, trained for long-range reconnaissance and infiltration beyond Demacia's borders into territories that formal military operations can't reach. She is among the best of them, which is partly skill and partly the advantage provided by Valor: the eagle who has been her partner since she was young, who hunts and scouts and fights alongside her with a coordination that transcends training and approaches something more fundamental.

Her brother Caleb was killed by a Demacian nobleman's hunting party — a waste of life that the nobility's insulation from accountability allowed to go unaddressed. She joined the military because it was the only institution with the authority and reach to address what had killed him, even though the institution was the same one that had failed to address it. She has served with distinction and she has not forgiven.

She ranges far beyond Demacia's borders — into Noxian territory, into Freljordian wilderness, into places where the kingdom's authority means nothing and survival depends on the scout's own skill and a very good eagle. She is more comfortable out there than in Demacia's political interior, where the nobility that failed her brother continues to fail others. She returns because Demacia is still worth serving, or because Valor lands on her shoulder and she goes where the hunt takes her.
