The Story of Teemo
Teemo is a yordle scout in the Bandle City Scouts — a cheerful, enthusiastic, and genuinely terrifying operative who approaches his work with the sunny disposition of someone who does not experience the dissonance between his personality and his methods. He is assigned to reconnaissance and intelligence gathering, which he performs with extraordinary skill. He is also assigned to pest control, ambush, and area denial, which he performs with the same enthusiasm and significantly more mushrooms.
His mushrooms are his signature: toxic explosives he grows and places with the patience of a long-term thinker, each one a tiny investment in an area's hazardous future. They detonate underfoot. They poison. They are very difficult to detect and entirely in keeping with Teemo's fundamental approach: he would rather you never knew he was there until the moment it's relevant. The cheerfulness is genuine. So is the lethality. He does not experience these as contradictory.
He operates with a moral certainty that is either refreshing or deeply concerning depending on how you define concerning. He has a mission. The mission involves reconnaissance and occasionally the elimination of things that threaten Bandle City's interests. He executes the mission with complete conviction and no apparent second-guessing. He whistles while he works. The mushrooms are already in position. He is very far away. He says hello.
